Jeff Bjorck is a man of many passions! Here you can learn more about a few of these pursuits.
Jeff serves on the Board for Lifewater International, a faith-based non-profit organization that “partners with the poor to bring safe water and health in Jesus’ name.” Go here to learn more. You can also read a photo essay from one of Jeff’s trips to Africa.
Guideposts Outreach sponsors various caring outreach programs, but Jeff is partial to one. The Comfort Kit program distributes care packages to tens of thousands of hospitalized children across the United States. Each kit includes a plush toy star named Sparkle, an “I’m special” wristband, cheerful stickers, crayons, and a prayer journal for coloring and writing, all packaged in a brightly colored carrying case. From 2010 to 2013, an amazing 75,000 of these kits also contained a special CD with eight of Jeff’s most peaceful compositions. You can read a story about Jeff’s opportunity to deliver a Comfort Kit personally to a very appreciative little boy.
Jeff is an avid hang glider pilot and enjoys flying whenever possible. Ever since early childhood, he dreamed of flight. In 1993, this finally became a reality with his first tandem flight, and by the fall of 1994, he was flying solo. To see pictures and learn more about Jeff’s hang gliding experiences, click here.
